Xc track racing skis are very light, narrow and have no metal edges and no pattern base. They generally have no sidecut. Waxes are used on the base. The technique used in XC track races depends on the event. They may be "classic" or skating mixed races.
Skis used on tracks, generally should be no wider than 55mm to 60mm wide.
